12/07 Sweden - New Swedish Champion!!  Joe finished his Swedish Show Championship and took Best of Breed several times in competition.  He is now SUCH/Can Ch Redlion's Hit Doctor** Am/Can MH WDQ. The Swedish CH is only awarded once a dog has also completed the required working awards in the field as well. Thanks to Catharina & Kaj Lindstrom who have Joe in Sweden with them till March 2008.  Catharina has done his training and showing while in Sweden.  See Joe's photos info on his Stud Dog page.

 

11/21/07  It's with a sad heart that I announce the passing of a very special boy                                Ch Redlion's Rough Suede RN He was a fun, loyal companion & competitor Suede was loved very deeply by owner Nita Schaefer of Oregon and will truly be missed.  He was a character whether in the mud puddle, in the field or the show ring.

7/21 Reliant KC, Texas   Puppy Group 4 for "Cody" in his first shows.  O/Penny Watkins  He is just 6 months old. His handler was a 9 year old girl and she and Cody will be on Animal Planet on November 10 at 8pm.  The special TV program is covering the big indoor "Reliant Dog Show" in Texas.

5-19-07 Redlion’s Kodiak deCristo wins 3 ribbons at his first show at Cypress Creek Kennel Club’s AKC Sanction B-OB Match in Houston Texas.  The judge was Judy Newton.  Cody took Best of Breed over three other chesapeakes, several being much older. He then went on and got a 4^th place in the Sporting Group. Cody is just 4 ½ months old.  Owner: Penny Watkins, TX
