*** New Driving Directions to the Kennel***
Nine miles southeast of
Southampton (Vincentown on the map)
A new housing development called "The
Grande" is now being built and my original dirt road is closed. You
will now enter through the housing development and then come onto my dirt
road at the east end of the new houses. See below....
From NJ Turnpike going South:
Get off Exit 7, Bordentown…Take RT 206 South, 20
miles to the traffic circle with Rt 70...
Proceed from the the circle Rt 70 &
Rt 206: Take Rt. 70 East 6 more miles. Look for the 24 mile marker. The
road is all woods along here. Turn left at the 24 mile marker onto High
Glen Drive, a paved road leading into the housing development
called "The Grande". Go to the dead end and Turn right on to
Oxford Circle. Turn left on the first road, Easton Way, an orange
arrow is on the tree
and a kennel sign on the mailbox. Go
1/2 mile into the woods, go through the
big metal gate and come to the right side of the 2 story white
house. Stay in your car if any dogs
are loose. Do not get your own dog out until someone comes out to meet you
and says it is ok.
Coming East on Pennsylvania
Turnpike: Take the PA
Turnpike East to the end. It goes straight into the NJ turnpike. Go 4 miles
and the NJ Turnpike divides, so stay left and go North. It’s only 3 miles
to Exit 7. Get off Exit 7, Bordentown. Take RT 206 South, about 20 miles,
to the traffic circle with Rt 70. Proceed as above....
From Delaware Memorial Bridge or
Rt. 295 North: After
you cross the bridge, stay in the right lanes. (NJ turnpike goes left and
RT 295 goes off to the right) Stay in the right lane, watch for signs and
take RT 295 North. Travel about 30 minutes on Rt 295. (At one point stay
right & Rt 295 joins with Rt. 130 and immediately you go off to the right
again on RT 295 North). Take the Exit for Rt. 70 East - Marlton - 34A.
Follow Rt. 70 East about 25 minutes. You'll go around a traffic circle with
RT 206 & RT 70 junction.. See Proceed as above....
From Philadelphia Airport or Rt.
95 North: Take
Rt. 95 North from the Airport, cross over the double-decker bridge and get
into the right lane. You will take the exit for the Walt Whitman Bridge.
Stay in the center lane as you cross the Bridge into New Jersey and come
down around the bend. Now move over to the right lane. Watch for signs and
take the exit for RT 295 North. Travel 6-8 miles, get off the Exit for RT 70
East- Marlton - 34A. Follow RT 70 East for 25 minutes. You will go around a
traffic circle with RT 206 & RT 70….. See Proceed as above...
From the Garden State Parkway:
Exit at Lakehurst onto Rt. 70 West. Follow about
40 minutes. At the circle of Rt. 72 and Rt. 70, continue on Rt. 70 West,
about 2 miles. Turn Right at the 24 mile marker onto High
Glen Drive, a paved road leading into the housing development
called "The Grande". Go to the dead end and Turn right onto
Oxford Circle. Turn left on the first dirt road, Easton Way, an orange arrow is on the
tree and my name on the mailbox. Go
1/2 mile into the woods, go through the
big metal gate and come to the right side of the 2 story white
house. Stay in your car if any dogs
